To recruit, train and coach community volunteers to assist the court system on behalf of abused and neglected children. We strive to advocate for a safe/stable environment, permanency, and the opportunity to thrive.
We envision a well-trained team of advocates to provide a voice for every abused and neglected child in the court system within our community.
Making a difference, compassionate, engaging, reliable, understanding, and educated.
What is a CASA Volunteer?
CASA volunteers are community volunteers who are not part of the child welfare system. They focus their efforts solely on gathering information and making recommendations regarding children who have been abused or neglected and in the court system, who would otherwise have no voice. CASA Volunteers are carefully screened and very well trained by professional staff. They receive a minimum of 30 hours of initial training and 12 hours of ongoing training every year. What is a Volunteer Advocate?
